The Mother I Never Knew

She’s everywhere and nowhere at all.
She keeps me standing yet makes me fall.
She’s just a whisper yet constantly audible.
She’s never seen and still always optical.
She’s easy to sum up and yet no words can describe.
It’s easy to see, though I still can’t decide,
Whether we should ever coincide.
Can we occupy the same space
and make up for the infinite lost days?
Am I destined to never know
the mother I never knew?
